I am certified on three assessments created by Hogan including the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the Hogan Developmental Survey (HDS), and the Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI). The HDS is one of the only available measures of possible derailers and personality-based performance risks.
This battery of tests provides excellent information for predicting performance and can be used for hiring decisions, talent development and evaluating potential for leadership. It is psycho-metrically sound with good supporting research.
Research has found self-awareness is correlated with leadership success and a new 360 instrument on the market and one in which I am recently certified, enVision.360, provides rich information for increasing just that.
It is a multi-rater tool with Executive, Middle Manager, Front-line Leader, and Individual Contributor versions. This allows for the assessment to grow with employees as they move up and around the organization so it is possible to track a person’s development on a desired quality over their career.

I am also a certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is one of the best-known and widely used personality assessments in the world. It is rooted in the work of Carl Jung’s theory of psychological type.
Results identify a person’s preference on four dichotomies: Introversion/Extraversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling and Judging/Perceiving.
The MBTI is a fantastic tool for team-building and career planning.
The Center for Creative Leadership is one of the premier leadership research institutes in the world. Two main streams of research, the Lessons of Experience and Derailment, provide a foundation for a suite of assessments designed for developing leaders. I am certified on them all.
